How Our Questions Are Written
Every question on NestedCerts goes through a deliberate process. Here's exactly how we build them.
The Question Pipeline
- Start with the official exam guide — every certification has an official AWS exam guide listing the exact domains and task statements. This is our blueprint.
- Map questions to domains and tasks — each question is mapped to a specific domain, weighted to match the exam's weighting.
- Write scenario-based questions — AWS exams present realistic situations. Our questions follow the same pattern.
- Craft plausible distractors — each incorrect option tests a specific misconception. Our wrong answers teach you something too.
- Write detailed explanations — every question gets a full explanation covering why the correct answer is right and why each wrong answer is wrong.
- Review and verify — every question is reviewed for technical accuracy and alignment with the current exam guide.
Question Format
- 15 single-answer questions — choose the one best answer from 4 options
- 5 multiple-choice questions — select 2 or more correct answers, just like the real exam
